From first grants that helped cover essential training costs to recognition at pivotal moments in their development, SportsAid has supported 42% of TeamGB as they progressed through the pathway to the very highest level.
Seeing 22 alumni prepare to compete on one of sport’s greatest stages is a powerful reminder of the impact early support can have.
Among those in Italy, Brad Hall is the most successful British men’s bobsleigh pilot in World Cup history, with 30 medals to his name. He’s targeting his first Olympic medal at his third Games.
Dave Riding is Great Britain’s most decorated alpine skier. He made history with a World Cup victory in Kitzbuhel, the first Brit to win in nearly 60 years.
Freestyle Skier Kirsty Muir is an exciting name to keep an eye out for. After making her debut at Beijing 2022, she battled back from an injury to claim her first World Cup gold in 2025.
Making her Games debut, Tabitha Stoecker has progressed rapidly in skeleton and became the first British woman to win an overall World Cup medal for more than a decade in 2025/26.
Figure Skating’s Lewis Gibson earned a top 10 place alongside partner Lilah Fear at their Olympic debut in 2022. The pair have since gone on to win bronze at the World and European Championships.
