Join the Superhero Triathlon this summer!

Looking for a fun challenge this summer?

On Saturday 15th August, an epic triathlon will be taking place at Dorney Lake, Windsor and we are inviting you to be part of it.

The ‘Superhero Tri’ is part of the Superhero Series which was created by Paralympian Sophia Warner, who was also supported by SportsAid on her journey to the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

To secure one of our charity places, or to find out more, please email fundraising@sportsaid.org.uk. We'd also love it if you could share this opportunity with anyone who might be interested.

We're delighted to have 10 charity places available for the UK's biggest inclusive triathlon.

It's a fun, flexible and family-friendly day out, with three triathlon distances to choose from, as well as a lively Superhero Village featuring sports tasters, entertainment, Celebrity Paralympic Captains, Channel 4 coverage and plenty of activities for all ages.

You can take on the challenge solo and complete all three stages (swim, bike and push/run) or enter as a team with Sidekicks or even in a relay. It's a truly flexible event designed to make participation possible for everyone. Family members, friends, and teammates all encouraged.

The Superhero Tri distances are:

Sprint Superhero Tri: Swim 150m | Bike 3km | Push/Run 1km

Half Superhero Tri: Swim 400m | Bike 10km | Push/Run 2.5km

Full Superhero Tri: Swim 750m | Bike 20km | Push/Run 5km

Who can take part?

Everyone is welcome. The only requirement is that all solo entrants – or at least one member of a team – identifies as having a disability or long-term health condition. All equipment is welcome, including wheelchairs, powerchairs, bikes, floats and baby buggies.

Every participant will receive a Superhero T-shirt, medal and Super Kit Bag. And of course, the dress code is a superhero outfit!

To secure one of our charity places, or to find out more, please email fundraising@sportsaid.org.uk. We'd also love it if you could share this opportunity with anyone who might be interested.
