SportsAid is seeking to recruit a new National Awards Manager as the charity looks to further strengthen its support for the next generation of British sports stars. The successful applicant will lead and develop the charity’s work with NGBs and their talent identification structures. The role requires a passion for sport, a good understanding of the sporting sector, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.

  • Managing and developing the athlete nomination and allocation process
  • Leading SportsAid’s National Awards Committee
  • Developing SportsAid’s partnerships with NGBs and Sport England
  • Working with SportsAid’s funding partners, including the commercial sector

You should be educated to degree level (or recognised equivalent), have experience of developing and maintaining partnerships, and possess a good understanding of talent identification and/or grant award management. A sound working-knowledge of database management and Excel is essential, as are good project management skills. This is a rare opportunity to join a committed and driven team.

The salary is in the range of £28,000 to £30,000 p.a. for the right candidate and opportunities for flexible working are available. You can download the full job description here.
