How did you first get involved in your sport?

At an early age I swam at a swim school and that was when a friend of my mothers told her that I should go to a club called Chalfont Otters. I then got competitive in my sport and went to a swimming gala for my school where they told me that I had to get classified and now I swimming in the Para-swimming talent programme.

What does a typical week look like for you?

I swim 9 times a week plus two land training sessions: this includes swimming twice on a Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday and once on a Tuesday; whilst doing land training on a Thursday and Sunday as well.

What motivates you to continue in your sport?

I love my sport and want to get to the paralympics.

Who is your sporting hero and why?

Claire Cashmore is my sporting heroine because when I was approximately 5 I went to a reach event and got to hold one of her gold medals whilst she told us an inspirational speech of how she went to the paralympics and won.

What do you do in your free time?

I play on my iPad, read books and play my trumpet which is another of my hobbies.
