How did you first get involved in your sport?

I first became involved in judo as my parents are both formal international judo players and coaches of a community club.

What does a typical week look like for you?

I go to school, have S and C and then Judo every evening. Every four weeks I attend either an England or GB training weekend. Every school holiday I attend either an England or GB training camp. Typically once every 6-8 weeks I attend a domestic or International event and/or training camp.

What motivates you to continue in your sport?

I want to technically and physically improve every time I perform.

Who is your sporting hero and why?

Gemma Gibbons - the 2012 London Olympic Silver Medallist after moving up a weight group and losing her mother.

What do you do in your free time?

Training and studying leaves little spare time, but I do also volunteer and coach younger judo players when I am in between training blocks. I was recently awarded 2017 British Judo Volunteer of the Year Award.
