How will your SportsAid Award help you?

I would use the SportsAid award to buy better athletics gear such as more training kit like shoes so injuries are kept to a minimum. I’d also use the money to help pay for travel to races that are abroad and that I have to pay flight money for as these can be last minute due to a late invite so flight prices can be very high.

What motivates you to continue in your sport?

My motivation for my sport is that I believe I’m not limited so it excites me to see what I can achieve with the right amount of training and discipline. Olympic success drives me also.

Who is your sporting hero and why?

Mo farah as he went to my university and has achieved unbelievable success, I see him around the university as he is based here and I look at him and think “if he can do it, why can’t I?” Also David Rudisha as he is the best 800m athlete to ever live.

I mainly relax with friends and play video games I enjoy going for coffees with mates and I love chicken wings

Short-term aims

I aim to make the European u23 Championships and make the final which could then enable me to medal which would be a great achievement. I’d also like to attempt to make the senior world championships in October which is a difficult task but could possibly be attained.

I aim to compete and many Olympic Games and World Championships and not just show up but win medals for me and my country.
