SportsAid is a charity registered in England and Wales under Charity Number 1111612, of 3rd Floor, Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square, London, WC1B 4SE. The purpose of this statement is to set out how we use personal information that we may obtain about you. By either registering for the SportsAid newsletter and by using the SportsAid website generally you agree to this use. This statement does not apply to any information you may provide through other websites to which we provide hyper-links, including but not limited to the Justgiving website. We recommend that you read and print the terms and conditions and privacy statements of such websites prior to using them.
1. Use of your Personal Information
1.0 When you register for our newsletter you will be asked to provide certain information such as your contact details. We will store this data and hold it on computers or otherwise. We will use this data to provide you with our newsletter.
2.0 We will also use information that you provide:
(a) to send you SportsAid press releases; and
(b) to send you HTML documents with details of SportsAid events.
2. Disclosure of Your Information
We will only give information about you to our employees and agents to administer any services provided to you by SportsAid now or in the future.
3. Security
We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose online. You accept the inherent security risks of providing information and dealing online over the Internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.
4. General
1.0 You have the right to see personal data (as defined in the Data Protection Act) that we keep about you, upon receipt of a written request and payment of a fee (currently £10 and made payable to SportsAid Trust. If you are concerned that any of the information we hold on you is incorrect please contact us (see details below).
2.0 Please be aware that our site may link to other websites which may be accessed through our site. We are not responsible for the data policies or procedures or the content of these linked websites.
How can I get my name removed from the SportsAid mailing list?
If you want to be removed from our mailing list, please write to the SportsAid, 3rd Floor, Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square, London, WC1B 4SE. Please note that it may take up to 28 days to action your request. In addition, each electronic mailing we send you will contain details of how you can un-subscribe.
