A SportsAid grant not only provides financial support but it also provides recognition. It acknowledges that these young athletes have a special ability and with the correct level of support, they could go on and achieve their full potential. By receiving a grant a young recipient is entering a unique club, with existing members representing the biggest names in British sport.

Those who have benefited from SportsAid's help include Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Matthew Pinsent, Dame Kelly Holmes, Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, Amir Khan, Victoria Pendelton and Denise Lewis.
