The British Athletes Commission (BAC)

The British Athletes Commission represents the views and interests of the elite athletes to the key decision makers in British sport, while also helping them to have a voice within their own sport and providing them with a number of services and benefits.

The BAC works with  SportsAid to deliver these services and benefits to the SportsAid athletes through a junior BAC membership. This includes access to a confidential helpline, which they can call if there is a problem they encounter which cannot be resolved through their sport's normal processes, and deals on a range of other services which can be seen on the BAC website www.britishathletes.org 

The BAC also supports the work of SportsAid by linking athlete speakers to regional SportsAid events and fundraisers through its Athletes Direct speaking scheme, this is a great way for elite athletes to put something back into supporting the athletes of the future.
