SportsAid Y&H helps Yorkshire's sports stars of tomorrow today.
Since 1976, when the charity was first established, SportsAid has given financial support and recognition to talented young sportsmen and women when they need it the most – when they're starting out. We are the first organisation to recognise their talent, often when their parents are their only sponsors.
In Yorkshire alone we have made over £2.6m in awards to the region's brightest sporting prospects. These include Yorkshire legends such as Seb Coe, Adrian Moorhouse and Leon Taylor, as well as current stars Tim Bresnan, Paul Goodison and Jessica Ennis.
We work with the National Governing Bodies of sport to identify and support the right Yorkshire athletes at the right time in their development.
