SportsAid South West

SportsAid in the South West is an established part of the sporting landscape. Our geography does not make it easy for our talented young athletes to travel to training or competitions, bringing additional pressures on parents to fund their athlete’s aspirations. Regional support is vital to our continued growth and we are grateful to local authorities, local trusts and rotary clubs who recognise how important it is to invest in the future of our homegrown sporting talent.

SportsAid South West saw this year the launch of Springboard. Bristol City Council, Burges Salmon Solicitors, The University of Bristol, The John Rutley Fund, WESPORT and ourselves have joined forces to provide grants to support Bristol's performance athletes. Working together with these key agencies and of course the business community is key to success for us and we continue to strive towards the development of new partnerships with those who want to be part of the South West team.
