A cohort of SportsAid athletes have been selected to represent Team GB at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Tampere, Finland from 18-25 July.

Of the 61 athletes to be called up 27 have been directly supported by SportsAid with a further 16 currently being considered for an Award.

Nearly 2,500 athletes from 49 Nations will compete in what is the 10th year of the event.

SportsAid athletes will compete in: Athletics, Swimming, Cycling, Gymnastics, Judo and Tennis.

We’ll let you know how our athletes get on as they aim to help beat Team GB’s medal tally from last year of nine gold, seven silver and silver bronze.
