SportsAid announces new partnership with SPORTTAPE
04 Jul 2012
SportsAid is pleased to announce a new partnership with the kinesiology tape manufacturer SPORTTAPE which will bring valuable assistance to the rising stars of British sport.
Making the announcement today, SportsAid’s Chief Executive Tim Lawler said, “We are proud to welcome SPORTTAPE into the SportsAid family and welcome the support they will be giving to the young athletes we work with. Last year SportsAid was able to help 2,000 aspiring athletes in the UK and it is fantastic that SPORTTAPE will be helping us to achieve the same level of support this year.”
Director of SPORTTAPE Kate-Anne Kelly added: "As a young British business it wasn't a question of if but how SPORTTAPE could help support SportsAid. Everyone who works at our company has been involved in sport all their lives and have reaped the benefits. Unfortunately, none of us were ever talented enough to represent our country however we can appreciate the total commitment it requires not only by the athlete but from their support network. Fortunately, SPORTTAPE is in a position that we can help SportsAid to do what they do best and help the next generation of British sporting talent to succeed."
SPORTTAPE will raise money for SportsAid by donating a portion of the sale of its kinesiology tape rolls, which help athletes train and recover from injuries, to the charity. The packaging will also carry the SportsAid logo.
