Olympic Champ Leads Tri Team
Adrian Moorhouse MBE joins the SportsAid London Triathlon team this year and with less than six weeks to go, training and fundraising is really stepping up. Support Adrian in his bid to raise money for SportsAid here.
The Olympic Gold medalist is captaining Team SportsAid, made up of 18 individual competitors and 22 teams from SportsAid partner Lloyds Banking Group. They’ll all be competing on either the 7th or 8th August at the London Triathlon, the world’s largest triathlon, held at the Excel Centre, London.
SportsAid has teamed up with partners including Profeet to offer some great fundraising incentives and rewards, encouraging the team to go the extra mile and support our next generation of sporting champions.
An Open water swim session with team Captain Adrian Moorhouse will take place tonight giving competitors the chance to learn from the best and pick up some training and race day tips.

About us

SportsAid, previously known as SportsAid Foundation (SAF), was founded in 1976. Its principal function was to raise funds from the private sector to provide financial assistance to Britain's amateur sportsmen and women. The aim was to help them prepare for competitions against better-funded, overseas athletes.
