European Youth Olympic Festival
A cohort of SportsAid athletes have been selected to represent Team GB at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Tampere, Finland from 18-25 July.
Of the 61 athletes to be called up 27 have been directly supported by SportsAid with a further 16 currently being considered for an Award.
Nearly 2,500 athletes from 49 Nations will compete in what is the 10th year of the event.
SportsAid athletes will compete in: Athletics, Swimming, Cycling, Gymnastics, Judo and Tennis.

About us
SportsAid, previously known as SportsAid Foundation (SAF), was founded in 1976. Its principal function was to raise funds from the private sector to provide financial assistance to Britain's amateur sportsmen and women. The aim was to help them prepare for competitions against better-funded, overseas athletes.
