27 Mar 2012

Stevenage, 26 March 2012: BrightHouse and SportsAid today launched their sponsorship of local athlete Kieran Davin.

Kieran, 15, an international judo champion, has recently made his return from a shoulder injury. He is now focusing on Olympic glory in Rio in four years' time.

“It is great to have the backing of a local company like BrightHouse," Kieran said.

"The SportsAid Award they have sponsored will help me in my recovery from injury and on the road to Rio.”

Nikki Williams, BrightHouse's customer service manager, added, I’m really pleased the staff at the Stevenage store are getting behind Kieran Davin and supporting him on his pursuit of a medal at the Olympic Games in Judo. Kieran broke his shoulder at the British National Championships last year but has shown real determination to recover and get back into training.”
