20 SportsAid athletes have been selected by the British Olympic Association (BOA) and their sport's national governing bodies to travel out to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games as part of the Ambition Programme. The Ambition Programme provides young talented athletes with the opportunity to experience the Olympic environment.

Jess Turner, like many other athletes, has faced the challenge of balancing her sporting ambitions with studying at university. Having just finished the final year of her sports science degree at Loughborough University, the 400m hurdler is now in a position to turn her full attention to her athletics career and has had a flying start to the outdoor season.

NEW: Swim Serpentine The Serpentine Hyde Park London W2 2UH

Swim Serpentine is a exciting new open water swimming festival taking part in central London and organised by the London Marathon events. Held in the beautiful Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park, participants are challenged to take on a one mile open water swim in the same lake that hosted the London 2012 open water swimming competition.
