SportsAid UNISON Open Meet
On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th May 2010, SportsAid Yorkshire & Humberside, in conjunction with UNISON, will host its annual Swimming Gala at the John Charles Aquatic Centre, South Leeds Stadium.
The meet, licensed by the ASA for entry into national championships (1NE0073), is an important fundraising event for SportsAid Y&H and would not be possible without the support of our sponsor, UNISON, the public service union.
The 2009 gala saw over 250 young swimmers from across the country coming together to compete and we hope to build on that number this year.
The event is organised in co-operation with the Yorkshire ASA and ASA North East Region specifically to raise funds for elite young sportspeople in Yorkshire and Humberside.
The closing date for entries is 9th April 2010.
