Savannah is a phenomenal boxer! She
intimidates her opponents with her height/weight
ratio and her skill and power.
She won the biggest event in her age group in
the sport triumphing at the European Youth and
Junior Women's Boxing Championships.
Savannah consistently shows herself as being a
star for the future.
Savannah is hard working, committed and eats,
breathes and sleeps boxing. Savannah
progressively improves and exceeds
expectations, yet is shy and unassuming of her
ability.
She won the European Youth and Junior
Championships in December in Bulgaria and
made the transition to a senior athlete
successfully winning the Female Championships
in June, followed immediately by winning Gold at
the European Unions Boxing Championships.
She is a class above the rest for her weight, and
a real medal winning chance at the Olympics for
2012 and 2016.
Speaking of her spot on the SportsAid 16 for
2016 list she said: “I’m really delighted that I’ve
been selected as a 16 for 2016 athlete, not just
because of the recognition for my achievements
but because I now know that as a boxer I can
aim to compete and win at an Olympic Games.”
