This summer Levi was selected to for the U18's England
National team and played in the European Championships
where they finished 4th out of 20 teams.
To progress his skills and get experience against some of
the best players in the world, Levi took up a scholarship in
the USA. He goes to Notre Dame Prep high school
Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on the east coast of the United
States. He practices everyday except Sunday and Monday
and the team is just about kick start their season with their
first game on the 31st October 2009.
He was recently ranked in the top 60 basketball players in
the high school graduating class of 2010 on
www.capitalhoops.com.
Levi return to the UK as much as possible to train and
compete for the England team.
Speaking of his spot on the SportsAid 16 for 2016 list he
said: “I am very exited and honoured on being one of the
16 selected as a prospect for the 2016 Olympics. This is
very important to me, not only because it is a big
achievement but also because it has also been one of my
goals in my basketball career to play in the Olympic
Games.”
