It has been a big year for Erin and she has had a great
season with her horses along with a few disappointing
results which she hopes make her better in the long term.

At Belgium senior International Erin was best of the Brits in
the Kur with Damingo and finished with the 2nd highest
percentage of the show behind an established Dutch
combination who later in the year went on to win a Gold
Medal at the European Championships.

Alt Hartpury Senior International in July she became the
Overall Grade 2 Champion, beating a strong class
including the British Grade 2 European Team member.

These two internationals were qualifiers for next
years World Equestrian Games in Kentucky so she is
pleased to have achieved qualification for this competition,
making her eligible for selection next year.

Erin also qualified for the Advanced Medium (abled-bodied)
Winter and Summer Regional Championships with
Nirvana, which was a great achievement.

Next year she has a lot of important competitons coming
up and more hard work in training. She said: “I hope to do
the Winter, Spring and Summer National qualifiers and
finals with Damingo for Para Dressage. I’ll continue to work
hard to achieve selection for the World Equestrian Games,
my results need to be a very high standard!”

Speaking of her spot on the SportsAid 16 for 2016 list she
said: "I am thrilled to be part of the 16 for 2016 and am
honoured to have been chosen. I am very grateful for the
support I have received from SportsAid, it's great to know
that there is so much support and confidence in my ability
to get to the top in the future and a great boost for morale
for the up and coming competition seasons."
